Rev. Michael Carpenter
Pastor
Pastor Michael was appointed to Lost Creek in 2024 after serving for a decade in churches in Oklahoma and Nebraska. A native of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Michael studied civil engineering at Oklahoma State University while following a call to ministry. At OSU, he met his wife, Rachel, and the couple have five children.
Pastor Michael is the author of two books from Abingdon Press, the publisher for The United Methodist Church: We Believe: How the Nicene Creed Can Deepen Your Faith and The Four Alls: A Fresh Look at a Methodist Heritage.
When Pastor Michael is not at the church or being a dad to his children, he can be found enjoying a good book or, more likely, a good spreadsheet.
