Miraculous | February 2-23

Put on your snorkels and your flippers! During the month of February, we will be diving into Jesus' miracles involving water and fish! If you would like more information or resources about this month's curriculum, please reach out to us at children@lostcreekumc.org.

Fun Activities

At Lost Creek, we encourage the children to be children! Every week in Sunday School and Children's Church, we invite the children to participate in meaningful activities or crafts that reinforce each lesson. Being creative is a core part of our mission!

Engaging Curriculum

We use the GROW Kids platform for our Sunday School and Children's Church curriculum. This platform allows us to use and teach high-quality content tailored to our church's needs. It has resources for the parents, too!

Deeper Learning

Our age-based Sunday School classes allow us to tailor each lesson specifically for different age groups. This allows for deeper Bible-based discussions for the older classes and more play-centered fun for the younger ones.

Hands-On Experience

We invite all our children and families to participate in our mission. The kids of Lost Creek have been involved in countless donation drives as well as our local and distant missions!

Sunday Schedule

Sunday School | 9:00am

Our children's ministry offers three Sunday School classes, based on age group. Check them out below:

PreK through Kindergarten

Led by Sharon Kinzie | Rm 108 (in Shine Zone)
This group will enjoy the basics of Bible stories and lessons while engaging in plenty of play. They will color, craft, sing, and, of course, play with plenty of Play-Doh!

1st through 2nd Grades

Led by Makenna Howey | Rm 109 (in Shine Zone)
This group will dive a little deeper into discussing the Bible stories, with a focus on hands-on crafts and activities to reinforce each lesson. There will still be plenty of play, though!

3rd through 5th Grades

Led by Jeremy Brooks and Diann Rudd
This highly energetic group is also known as our "Cool Crew!" These rowdy kids enjoy diving deeper into the Bible and beginning to explore themes and applications for their daily lives while engaging in plenty of activities and fun!

We treat this group like a "mini youth group." They will meet outside of Sunday morning to participate in fun activities or mission work with their family. For more information about this group, please email Pastor Nathan at nmcfee@lostcreekumc.org.

Children's Church | During Worship

On Sunday mornings during worship, you will have the opportunity to send your children to Children's Church during the middle of the worship service. After our prayer time we will invite the children to the front for the Children's Moment, and then the group will exit the sanctuary to go to the SHINE Zone. While there, they will learn the same theme that was discussed in that Sunday's Sunday School classes by being engaged in song, a Bible lesson, an activity, and a craft.

The Nursery

Along with the Shine Zone and our children's programming, we also have a wonderful nursery for kids up to 4 years old! In the nursery, our little friends will participate in play, snack time, songs, and a short lesson throughout the duration of normal Sunday morning activities. We also offer a private feeding and changing station for parents to use as needed.
