Lay Servant Ministries

Are you already part of our Lost Creek family but feeling led to serve or lead? Or are you already involved in a ministry or committee and want to feel more confident in your role? Then Lay Servant Ministries is your next step.

Becoming a Lay Servant is the pathway for you to use the gifts God has given you in a way that makes a difference in your community and for God's Kingdom.

Lay Servants do any number of things in and beyond our church: lead ministries, chair committees, preach in pulpit supply. In other words, everything that keeps the church running.

Lay Servant Basic Course

The first course a person takes to become a Lay Servant is called the "Basic Course." This course is usually taught in a 10-hour block over a single weekend.
However, Lost Creek has begun offering it every year as an 8-week course. Click the button below to find out more and register!

Other Lay Servant Courses

Our 8-Week Basic Course is not the only Lay Servant course being offered this season. Twice per year, our District offers several courses in the traditional weekend format.

The next such training is April 25, 2026, in Tonkawa. Click the button below or the image in this section to see the course offerings.
